A perfect mid-winter night's run

(For Janet)

It was mild tonight with snow falling gently from a moonlit sky.

It felt good running through the still whiteness,
ice crunching underfoot,
fat snowflakes begging to be tasted,
abstracts forming on the surface of the pond,
cold, clear air filling every part of me.

How could I not run on a night such as this?

  1. LOVE IT!!!

It's as if I'm there running with you through the wintery scene - excellent.

(I watched the snow fall through the window as I pounded out my mileage on the dreadmill)

  2. Thanks, Janet. Part of my evil plan to persuade you to run outside in winter. :-)
